Instead of trying different productivity hacks that people shared, just focus on creating your own best practices.
Why?
Because each person has their own unique energy rhythm during the day, as well as enjoy different kinds of activities at different energy levels.
Note down things you want to focus on when you have high and low energy levels, similar to my chart below:
I'm a morning person so I dedicate my time before noon to work on things that require deep focus or creativity.
I have relatively low energy at noon so having meetings works best for me because as an extrovert, I gain more energy by talking to people so it feels like having a booster when my energy is low.
I know that many people schedule meetings in the morning so it really depends on nature of your jobs. Personally, I don't like meetings in the morning.
For the rest of my day, as my energy gradually goes up, I like spending time on managing, reviewing tasks as well as learning new things.
That's it! Let me know what activity you prioritize to do when your energy is high and low?
